Freshly crowned Motorplex SuperComp Vice Track Champion, Kyle Putland is all set to make his first racing appearance on the east coast, steering Australia’s quickest naturally aspirated car at this weekend’s X Champs at Sydney Dragway.

The Harness Master Racing, Bob Rossi built Altered carried the 25 year old Hydraulic Servicing supervisor to the runner up spot in Perth just over a fortnight ago, and is now hunting down the A/Altered record books in Sydney this weekend with personal bests in the west of 6.58 at 205.94 mph (331.42kph.)

“We can’t wait to take our sponsor’s brand names over to the east and hopefully claim the new record officially, because we’re going three tenths of a second under Chris Soldatos’ A/Altered elapsed time record now and going over 17mph (27kph) over his speed record, so hopefully we can do on Sydney soil in May what we’ve been doing consistently over here in Perth.”

“We’ve had a phenomenal season. We’ve developed this car to become the quickest and fastest naturally A/Altered in the country and there’s no way we could have done that without Harness Master, Hitachi, SupaFit Seat Covers, Professionals Stirling Clark and Orange Australia.”
