The 2015 calendar of events for Hidden Valley Drag Strip has now been released.
The ANDRA Drag Racing Series is set to make a return to Hidden Valley on the 16-17 of July. While details are still being finalised, both Top Alcohol and Top Doorslammer categories have been confirmed attendees by the sport’s governing body.
After a short season in 2014 racing is ramping up with a total of 12 action packed events to hit the Valley, five off street meets and seven track championship rounds.
The NT Titles is scheduled for 14-15 August, bringing you two nights of drag racing and loud, tyre frying burnouts, with competitors from across the Northern Territory and around Australia vying for the title of NT Champion. Darwin will witness some of the closest racing and smokiest burnouts the Territory has ever seen.
The season kicks off with a combined Test & Tune and Beat the Heat Off Street event on the afternoon of Good Friday, 3 April which will give competitors their first chance at hitting the strip, or the Colosseum for those that have the itch to fry some tyres after the wet season!
The Season Opener will then be one for the spectators not to miss on Saturday, 25 April.
