Glenn Moore is one of the true ‘wild men’ of the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car tour and the northern Queenslander will be racing the Fast Company Plymouth at the Adelaide International Raceway event to be held on Saturday, April 4 2015.

The car switch comes after Moore’s own ‘Bad to the Bone’ Pontiac suffered a mechanical issue in the lead up to the event.

Moore explained, “We were waiting on a part for the car that meant Adelaide might not happen for our team. Fortunately, with Shane (Olive) moving into the famous L.A. Hooker car for this event, it means that Fast Company was available.

“I’m just so grateful that Graeme (Cowin) has given me the opportunity to race this car. This is undoubtedly one of the baddest hot rods in the field and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel!”

“I have never raced at Adelaide but I know that Rino and the Racing Onn crew have really got that track working brilliantly, so with a fast racetrack and a fast racecar, it feels like ‘Fast Company’ is the right car to be in!”

Moore will be in good company on the track too, with a field that includes 11 nitro funny cars as well as the crowd favourites – two wheelstanding funny cars, Nitro Sheriff and Rocket Ship, complete with fire belching from their supercharged engines.

Series Manager, Steve Bettes was happy to have Moore on the track for the South Australian event.

“Glenn is a character and to have him at the event was really important for us! He livens up the track as well as the pit area!

“We want to put on a huge show for the South Australian fans and with the 11 nitro cars, two wheelstanders and two jets, this is going to be the biggest event Adelaide has even seen!”

Bettes concluded, “This is a real Night of Fire, every car that is on the event poster will be pumping out flames and smoke, if you want to take the kids out for one of the best nights possible – this is that event. The cars are as fast as they are spectacular – every one of them!”

Event promoter, Rino D’Alfonso added, “It’s all of what Steve has said as well as two flame-throwing jet cars and a massive after race concert featuring Angry Anderson. We have gone all out and it will be a day and night to remember!”

The funny cars will perform a ‘salute to the crowd’ where every nitro car fires up on the strip at 4pm followed by wheelstanders and nitro racing at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm plus a full range of support categories.
