ANDRA via their Motor Mail service have released a new provisional calendar for the rest of th 2015/2016 season with the removal of Sydney Dragway, Willowbank Raceway and Perth Motorplex venues who are persuing their own championship series.
With recent speculation, ANDRA has moved to confirm the 15/16 ANDRA National Championship Series and Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series at the below venues and locations.
Following the ANDRA Drag Racing Series opener at Hidden Valley Drag Strip, the Championship will return to Darwin for Top Doorslammer as planned on August 14-15 before heading south to the Springnationals in Adelaide.
For the first time ever, the 11 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series events will take in two trips to Portland, Victoria and a visit to Steel City Raceway in Whyalla, South Australia.
The revised calendar is provisional and subject to change with the possibility of additional tracks, venues and events.
While the remainder of 15/16 calendar became an overnight challenge we are more than happy to take the Championship to new levels while preparing for new and exciting venues in the 16/17 series with a host of new events and changes. There has never been a better time for a true National Championship series and the opportunity to compete for the exclusive ANDRA Gold or Silver Christmas Trees.
