During April statements have been released by both the SFI Foundation and Impact Racing Products.

The most recent Press Release from the SFI Foundation clearly states the withdrawal of the legal appeal lodged by Impact Racing Products on certain items and certification dates. Safety items affected include driving suits, arm restraints, gloves, boots/shoes, socks, balaclavas, underwear and safety harnesses.
