Rain- the curse of drag racing, washed out the opening day of Top Fuel qualifying at the final round of the NHRA Full Throttle championship in Pomona California. Team Rapisarda was in the staging lines when light rain began to fall.
“It was disappointing but that’s drag racing.” Said a philosophical team owner Santo Rapisarda.
“The forecast tomorrow is good and we are looking forward to going racing.”
