Sydney Dragway would like to advise that the venue has worked closely with Top Fuel Australia Limited to meet their prize money requirements for the 2013 Sydney Nitro Champs.
After several meetings and proposals by both parties using the November 2012 Nationals equivalent as the starting point, we advise that a position could not be met that satisfied Top Fuel Australia Limited’s requirements, while at the same time ensuring Sydney Dragway’s exposure to commercial risk remained acceptable.
With this, Sydney Dragway would like to advise that Top Fuel will not be present at this year’s Nitro Champs, yet both parties will maintain a good working relationship to ensure all future possibilities are available.
Sydney Dragway is confident that the 2013 Nitro Champs will remain one of the most exciting and well attended events on the Drag Racing Calendar and would like everyone to stay posted as the new and exciting features of this event unfold.
