Auzmet Architectural Pro Stock driver Shane Tucker will be heading to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to compete in his fifth race of the season. Tucker has yet to race in Sin City and is looking forward to rolling the dice at the 16th annual Las Vegas NHRA Nationals.

“I’ve never raced in Vegas but people have told me the track is ridiculously good,” Tucker said. “I’ve heard that you can throw anything at it and it’ll stick so I’m excited to see what our car can do in those conditions. Our car seems to do well on tight racetracks.”

In four short races, the Australia-native has been able to improve quicker than most with the new fuel injection. Tucker was able to go rounds at the AAA FallNationals a few weeks ago in Dallas, Texas and that was just the momentum he needed.

“Winning in the NHRA is something I’ve strived for my whole career,” Tucker added. “I’m feeling really confident after going a few rounds in our Auzmet Architectural Chevrolet Camaro in Dallas not only with the car but with my driving. I think we can improve even more in Las Vegas and I think going to the semifinals is a pretty realistic goal.”

Qualifying at the 16th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals begins on Friday, October 28th at two qualifying sessions at 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Two more qualifying sessions will be on Saturday, October 29th at 11:45 am. and 3:30 p.m. Eliminations will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 30th.
