After missing the field by next to nothing at the U.S. Nationals, Shane Tucker and his Auzmet Architectural Chevrolet Camaro team will make their way to zMAX Dragway this weekend for the 10th annual NHRA Carolina Nationals.
“zMAX Dragway is like another home race for me,” Tucker said. “In my Pro Stock career, I’ve always wanted to run really well and win in Charlotte. My parents live in Statesville, North Carolina so this race is special for all of us.”
Not in the Countdown to the Championship points, Tucker is looking forward to playing the role of points spoiler in a handful of races during the Countdown.
“We’d like going out there, do the best we can, and maybe spoil some points in the process,” Tucker said. “The one thing we learned coming out of Indy is that we’re close and we just need to keep working hard. All of our hard work will pay off.”
