VIDEO: Queen St BMW runs first six – breaks record

The 24 carat gold plated Queen Street Racing E46 BMW armed with a new automatic transmission ran its first ever six second ET while breaking the 20B Automatic World Record.

With hired gun driver Sam Meintanis doing the steering, the Pac Performance billet 20B equipped BMW punched out an off the trailer 6.97 at 194mph in testing – its first ever pass with an auto.

The car recently switched from a Liberty 5 Speed to a Al’s Race Glides prepared Turbo 400 set up to make the beast a little easier to handle.

The 6.97 also becoming the quickest 20B with an automatic transmission in the world, surpassing fellow Pac Performance racer Sam Sadek’s 7.03.
