Very sadly yesterday, popular Queensland Super Street racer and former National Champion Terri Sander lost her long battle with cancer.
Well known for her unique “Mama’s Toy” Rover that raced around the country, Terri was also instrumental in pushing breast cancer awareness through her inspirational Mini-Field of Women – Pink Lady events at Willowbank Raceway.
Terri was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer back in 2011 and has been battling the disease ever since.
Terri was an inspirational lady who fought a valiant fight against a terrible disease, her memory and legend will live on in the sport.
