Former Australian Top Bike champion Chris Porter has announced he will be taking a break from the sport after the loss of major sponsor Fraser Motorcycles.

Porter has been one of the strongest supporters of nitro motorcycle racing around the country in recent seasons and he was rewarded with ANDRA championships in 2013 and 2016.

“The Bad Bones Racing Team are very sad to announce that due to the loss of all sponsors we will not be competing in the 2018 season of 400 Thunder Top Bike,” Porter said.

“After 20 years of fantastic support from Fraser Motorcycles they have chosen not to continue due to changes in the group. I would like to thank Warren Dareen and Greg for their help as without them I would not have been able to win two Australian championships.

“I would also like to thank Lucas Oils and Interfreight Transport and all the fans and track staff around Australia, I hope to see you all again soon.”
