Russell Ladbrook has been finding wins more regularly in the WA Top Comp championship and hopes to close out the season with a national record at the ANDRA Grand Finals in just over a week.
Ladbrook top qualified with a AA/FC 5.68 and then ran a 5.86 to defeat Rob Youngs in the final. He said he was getting more used to the car with more runs.
"We have just started. There is plenty more to come in AA trim," he said. "The season has only one more meeting to go bUT would like to finish the season with another national record and to take both the speed and ET track records. I know we have the ability.
"I would like to thank my crew, Stuart Rowland, James Rowland, Glen Alford, Simon Jones, Alan Ladbrook and Nathalie Sluik, because without them I can't race."
The ANDRA Grand Finals take place next weekend, April 6 and 7 at Perth Motorplex.
