Christine Steffens has started her bid to become Australia’s first licensed female Nitro Funny Car competitor today at Willowbank Raceway.
The former Supercharged Outlaws national champion performed a launched followed by a clean 300ft shut off pass to complete the first parts of the licensing requirements driving the “Croc” bodied flopper formerly owned by Garry McGrath.
Willowbank Raceway will be holding Nitro Funny Car events in November and January.
