It is with immense sadness that Dragnews reports the passing of nostalgia drag racer Mark Stewart as a result of a truck accident today.
Mark is best known for his wild wheelstanding blown six cylinder altered “PANIC” on the nostalgia scene.
Mark was instrumental for the Six Banger Nationals at Warwick Dragway and was a guru with the spanners on a six cylinder, helping many a racer over the years with tuning and engine building.
He will be missed by many as a legend in his field, a showman and a down to earth nice guy.
