Aaron Lynch is likely to make a return in Top Alcohol this season, sources have said.
Plans are for Lynch to steer a second Crossroads Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car alongside team principal John Cannuli.
Lynch formerly raced in Top Fuel, Top Alcohol and Top Doorslammer under the B&L Steel banner before departing the sport suddenly.
Meanwhile Cannuli has cleared some room in his shed with the sale of his Studebaker and Corvette Top Doorslammers to separate Brisbane Super Sedan racers who wish to remain nameless for now, both cars will see Supercharged Outlaws duties.
The Studebaker was the former burnout car of Brett Stevens, while the Corvette is an ex-Lynch car.
