Faraone Charger straight to the eights

The Pro Street scene in WA doesn’t always thrive as much as that on the east coast but one car looking bound to become a popular addition is the Charger of John Faraone.

With a twin turbo 472ci Wedge under the bonnet and weighing in at a beefy 4200 pounds, the Charger was punted to an 8.67/166mph in its first outing at a private test day on 9 October.

George Separovich was doing the steering, no small job with the front left picking up at will and a cautious approach needed to the startline.

Just 18psi of boost was used for the pass so there is plenty more in reserve as Faraone tunes the car up. The rear end is going to be tweaked so it can handle the power at the start line.

Check out the videos of the car both on track and also showing its streetability on the way to and at the recent Powercruise.
