NxtGen Pro Stock at the 400 Thunder Super Thunder event once again proved to be another meeting of highs and lows for the Mega Fuels Pro Stock team cars.

After the siting pass performance it was clear that once again the Mega Fuel sponsored cars would be hard to beat.

First round would be a close race with the Tremaniac powered car of Brian Pursell on point and facing Tyronne Tremayne.

With burnouts completed both cars moved into full stage however Tyronne Tremayne’s car left before the tree activated and Pursell reacted also leaving before the tree came down. This was deemed a ‘no race’ and no points were allocated.

It was found that the two step switch had come loose and fallen off making the Tremayne car go to the high side, pushing his foot off as the clutch engaged because of the high RPM – and Tyronne’s bad luck gremlin continued to cause havoc.

Better fortune was bestowed on Aaron Tremayne, winning against Paul Beauchamp with a 7.03 to 7.67 pass. However with the drama that hit brother Tyronne, the brothers would now face each other in the second round of the All Run Format.

A 6.98 pass to a 7.03 saw Aaron have the edge over his brother in the race, and with two wins – the only car to do so – Aaron would face Wayne Daley in the final after he clocked a 7.02 with a win in the second round, securing enough points for his final berth.

Unfortunately once again the weather played havoc with the meeting cancelled and final round was not run, but the team will return to the track at Nitro Thunder in May.

Tremaniac Racing would like to thank their major sponsor Mega Bulk Fuels for their valuable support, and associate sponsors, NxtGen Engineering, Tremaniac Racing, Aqualine Pools, Speedflow, Diamond Pistons, Trend, CP Carrillo, 6 Boost and Bailey’s Brake and Clutch
