Fraser Motorcycles sponsored Bad Bones Racing Top Fuel Harley is ready to go up against rival Chris Matheson and the rest of the Top Fuel Bike competition as the season reaches its mid-point at the 2013 Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway on May 3-5.

Porter is leading the points and lamingtons (Matheson currently owes Porter six trays), but the margin is still tight and Porter is going to fight to keep the well-deserved lead.

“For the Nitro Champs we want to be consistently in the sixes and our big target is 220mph (354kph). We’ve changed the gearing and have some new clutch plates from Nick Boninfante in the USA so hopefully that will produce the results we want.”

“We’ve made gains by learning more about the tuning of the bike, particularly in the clutch area, which has benefited our 60 feet (launch) times and our speeds,” he said.

“We have the same fuel system as the US guys so now it is just about finding a track that will hold it. Sydney Dragway has been the most consistent surface we have found so we are going to throw all we’ve got at it and see what it will hold.”

Fraser Motorcycles Racing will also be represented by Hayden Smith, Elliot Andrews and Robert Axisa on their modified Street Harleys in the Modified Bike bracket. The support crew of Damian Matsinger and Chris Dunn round out the team in what’s to be an epic showdown after their 1-2 at the Street Bike Track Championships last weekend.

“We are concentrating on preparing the Fraser Nitro Harley and Street Harleys to their optimum form.” Chris states. “The whole team is ready to show our home crowd and competition what we can do. It’s more than just lamingtons this time round.”

The team wants to thanks their sponsors and supporters: Dunrite Pro-Formance, Custom Transmissions, Fantasy Housemaids and special thanks to Warren Fraser and the entire team at Fraser Motorcycles.
